Tiger proposes to Swedish girlfriend in African bushveld

JOHANNESBURG (AFP) — The world's number one golfer Tiger Woods has proposed to his girlfriend, Swedish model Elin Nordegren, at a picturesque South African game reserve, state television reported.
SABC television news said Woods and Nordegren, who have been dating for about two years, got engaged at the luxurious Shamwari game reserve near Port Elizabeth in South Africa's scenic Eastern Cape province.
SABC quoted a game ranger named "Lucky" who was accompanying the couple as saying that Woods had proposed during a spectacular bushveld sunset.
