O'Neill fumes over fixture congestion

GLASGOW (AFP) — Martin O'Neill has warned that fixture congestion could wreck Celtic's dream of a place in the Champions League knockout phase.
O'Neill's side face a make-or-break trip to Lyon next Wednesday on the back of a run of three games in eight days and the Celtic boss made it clear he was furious about being made to play a League Cup quarter-final against Partick on Thursday night.
"Maybe you would have to ask the organisers of the competition about this. The game, for whatever reason, was postponed but it wasn't for the sake of the clubs."
