MANCHESTER, England (AFP) — Manchester United are in good shape to retain their Premiership title, but could still do with a couple of new players in the squad according to skipper Roy Keane.
Arsenal have closed to within one point of the Red Devils at the top following Monday's win at Southampton, but Alex Ferguson's men will be happy with their position as the go into the New Year.
Ferguson is likely to be busy finalising his plans for the January sales before United resume their league programme at Bolton following the FA Cup third-round date with Aston Villa this weekend.
And Keane says he would welcome one or two new faces, especially in attack, as United look to push on towards the championship.
