Tiger Woods cautions Wie not to rush her development

LOS ANGELES, (AFP) — Tiger Woods has a word of caution for golf's whiz kid Michelle Wie -- don't rush things.
"I look at the philosophy that you also need to learn the art of winning," Woods says on his web site TigerWoods.com.
"My dad was a big believer in that. We didnt really move up from junior golf to national junior golf until I was playing well enough to win consistently."
Asked to size up the Wie situation, Woods initially joked, "she's taller than me".
But in a more serious tone, golf's greatest player wished her luck. He also hinted that one piece of advice for the 14-year-old Hawaiian-born Wie would be to learn how to be a consistent winner.
