Dalmat calls on Tottenham to act

LONDON (AFP) — French striker Stephane Dalmat has called on Tottenham to start contract talks if they want to make his move to White Hart Lane from Inter Milan permanent.

Dalmat is on a season-long loan with Tottenham after the 25-year-old spurned a switch to Middlesbrough last summer after realising he would struggle to be part of the first team set-up at Inter Milan.

He will return to Italy in June but says he would still consider making his move to Spurs a permanent one.

"Tottenham is an immense club but at the end of the season, I will return to Milan. For the moment, I am concentrating on my game and, with regard to my future, we will see after that," said Dalmat who was praised by acting manager David Pleat for his part in helping Spurs draw 1-1 in...
