Saulnier ousts fourth seed while Lee also falls

MEMPHIS, United States (AFP) — France's Cyril Saulnier continued his mastery over American Robby Ginepri, ousting the fourth seed from the 880,000-dollar ATP and WTA St. Jude Classic.

Saulnier rallied to defeat Ginepri 3-6, 7-6 (7/3), 6-2, in a first-round men's match. Saulnier lost his first match against Ginepri but has beaten him three times since, including last month in Adelaide and last week in San Jose.

Next for Saulnier is Belgium's Xavier Malisse, who eliminated Bosnia-born American Amer Delic 6-4, 6-2. The Frenchman beat Malisse in their only prior meeting in last year's first round at Wimbledon.

South Korea's Lee Hyung-Taik was eliminated by Sweden's Joachim Johansson 6-4, 6-7 (5/7), 6-2.
