Spielberg tribute to 400 Italian concentration camp survivors

ROME (AFP) — Film director Stephen Spielberg will produce a documentary about 400 Jewish concentration camp survivors to be shown in secondary schools across Italy, the Corriere della Sera daily quoted him as saying.
"This summer, we're beginning a documentary about 400 Italian Jewish camp survivors, which will be distributed in Italian schools accompanied by a book," Spielberg said in an interview.
The project is being financed by Spielberg's Shoah Foundation, set up a decade ago from the proceeds of his Oscar-winning Holocaust movie, "Schindler's List".
"We hope to motivate teachers who hold the future in their hands, so that (Education) Minister Moratti includes it in the curriculum, allowing it to be seen by every single Italian student, along the lines...
