Wie hires ex-Tiger caddie "Fluff" to handle her bags

WILLIAMSBURG, United States (AFP) — American teen golf prodigy Michelle Wie has hired Mike "Fluff" Cowan, the former caddie of golf star Tiger Woods, to handle her bags this week at the two million-dollar LPGA tournament here.
The 14-year-old Hawaiian will play her third event of the LPGA season at Kingsmill, near the Golden Horseshoe course where she is expected to defend her US Women's Amateur Public Links crown next month.
Cowan caddied for Woods when the American superstar won his first major at the 1997 Masters and handled duties for three years before Woods dropped him. Cowan now caddies for US Open champion Jim Furyk, who is out of action with a wrist injury.
