DRCongo, Rwanda presidents to meet Friday in Abuja: Nigeria

ABUJA (AFP) — Presidents Joseph Kabila of the Democratic Republic of Congo and Paul Kagame of Rwanda are to meet in Abuja amid fears of renewed hostilities between their countres, the Nigerian presidency said.

"In continuation of efforts to achieve lasting peace and political stability in all parts of Africa, President Olusegun Obasanjo will ... host peace talks," the Nigerian leader's spokeswoman Oluremi Oyo said Thursday in a statement.
