Atos Origin delays second-quarter sales report after Sema buy

PARIS (AFP) — Computer services company Atos Origin said it had postponed the publication of second-quarter sales from August 13 to September 8, after the acquisition of consulting group Sema in January.
Atos Origin said Tuesday the delay was decided due to the company's "significant change in size following the acquisition of the Sema group in January 2004" and the consequent preparation of combined financial results on a comparable basis.
Second-quarter sales will be published along with first-half earnings, the international Brussels-based company said.
