LONDON (AFP) — Jenson Button is to leave BAR-Honda to drive for his former team Williams in the 2005 Formula One season.
It was team leader Frank Williams who gave Button his first big break in 2000, when he scored 12 points in his maiden season for the British outfit.
He was then loaned out to Renault for 2001/02 because of Williams' contractual obligations to Colombian Juan Pablo Montoya, who has signed a contract to drive for McLaren-Mercedes next year.
Button, 24, has emerged as one of the main leaders of the pack chasing Ferrari champion Michael Schumacher.
The Briton hailed his second place behind Schumacher in Germany last month as his best drive ever after he was forced to drive one-handed towards the end of the race...
