Five killed in Austrian bus accident confirmed as British

LONDON (AFP) — Five people killed in Austria when a tourist bus careered off a road and into a ditch were British, Austrian emergency authorities said.
Three others among the 42 injured in the crash were in a very serious condition, the head of Salzburg Emergency Services told BBC radio.
"Five people died and all five people are British. Three other people are in hospital in a very bad situation," Gerhard Huber said.
The accident happened at 4:30 pm (1430 GMT) on Tuesday when the bus was overtaken by another vehicle and veered off the road into a ditch before somersaulting, according to earlier radio reports in Austria.
