Wenger warns against complacency as Gunners extend record at Norwich

NORWICH, England (AFP) — Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was quick to guard against complacency despite easily extending their unbeaten league record to 44 games after beating Norwich 4-1 at Carrow Road.

Arsenal hit three first-half strikes to brush newly-promoted Norwich aside as they took their Premiership goal tally to 15 in four games and stormed back to the top of the Premiership despite Chelsea's win over Southampton earlier in the day.

Manager Arsene Wenger described his side's unbeaten run as "amazing" after Wednesday's 3-0 win over Blackburn at Highbury saw them breeze past the 42-game record set by Brian Clough's Nottingham Forest in 1978.

But Wenger is mindful that his side, fresh from a Double success in 2001/02, were hitting similar high levels...
