Pulp Non-fiction: John Travolta to pen autobiography

LOS ANGELES (AFP) — US movie star John Travolta, better known for his dance moves than his literary talent, is to pen an autobiography revealing details of his friendships with Princess Diana and Marlon Brando.

The "Saturday Night Fever" and "Pulp Fiction" star, who turned 50 in February, has sealed a deal with New York-based publisher Hyperion to write the as yet untitled book to mark his half-century on earth.

"I've hit a milestone this year in my life, turning fifty, and if I waited any longer I'd have to write two books," Travolta said in a statement. "I've had such a full life that I really want to share it."
