Abu Dhabi TV says it has video of hostage Bigley's killing

ABU DHABI (AFP) — Abu Dhabi television said that it has a video showing the killing in Iraq of British hostage Kenneth Bigley, but that it will not broadcast it.

"Abu Dhabi television has received a tape of the unfortunate killing of the British hostage in Iraq, Kenneth Bigley," it said in a statement to AFP.

"The station took an editorial decision not to show such footage. Abu Dhabi TV refuses to serve as a mouthpiece for such groupes or their actions.

"Abu Dhabi extents its sinecre condolences to Bigley's family and renews its condolences to the families of all those killed in Iraq".
