Singapore's 'Burger King' nearly chokes on world record

SINGAPORE (AFP) — A Singaporean man broke the world record for stuffing the most hamburgers into his mouth at one time as part of a weekend competition to break 10 obscure Guinness World Records, press reports said.
Don Ezra Nicholas, 19, packed in three "and a bit" McDonalds hamburgers, or 369 grams (13 ounces) of burger, into his mouth without swallowing, the Straits Times said.
His effort on Sunday took him past the feat of American Johnny Reitz, who previously held the record by stuffing 340 grams of hamburger into his mouth.
"I'm the burger king," Nicholas, a national serviceman, declared after his world record, adding his achievement did not come easily.
