Ferguson refuses to panic for Sparta clash

MANCHESTER, England (AFP) — Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson insisted he would not opt for wholesale changes for Wednesday's Champions League match at home to Czech outfit Sparta Prague.
The Scot has refused to panic despite last weekend's 2-0 defeat against Portsmouth.
"We have to use our experience," said Ferguson at Old Trafford on Tuesday.
"The important thing is to pick a team we think will win tomorrow's (Wednesday's) game because if I was going to choose one on the evidence of Saturday, I might even get a game myself."
Victories against Sparta and at home to French champions Lyon on November 23 will guarantee United, who have five points from their opening three games, a place in the last 16 before they travel to Fenerbahce in their final Group D match.
