JACKSONVILLE, United States (AFP) — National Football League officials have had enough of wardrobe malfunctions and breast-revealing Super Bowl half-time shows, but they haven't had enough of silly love songs.

A year after Janet Jackson's infamous "wardrobe malfunction" that exposed her right breast during the Super Bowl half-time show, the NFL has taken tighter control of the festivities, booking Paul McCartney to perform Sunday.

"They had the idea I might not have a wardrobe malfunction," McCartney said. "I can tell you I won't."

The 62-year-old British rocker, seen as a corrupting influence along with his Beatles bandmates in the 1960s, now represents wholesome family values.
