Female interrogators humiliated Muslim prisoners at Guantanamo: report

WASHINGTON (AFP) — Female interrogators touched Muslim prisoners suggestively, paraded in front of them scantily clad prisoners smeared with red dye to simulate menstrual blood, according to a Pentagon report that confirms witness accounts, according to a US newspaper report.

The report, which has not been released to the public, reflects a military investigation of US detention and interrogation practices worldwide, led by Vice Admiral Albert Church III, said an unnamed Defense Department official familiar with the report in The Washington Post.

It confirms allegations made to lawyers by Muslim detainees at the US military prison in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, that female interrogators repeatedly used sexually suggestive tactics to humiliate them and break them down....
