O'Driscoll out of Tsunami match

LONDON (AFP) — Ireland captain Brian O'Driscoll pulled out from playing in Saturday's IRB Rugby Aid match tsunami fundraiser at Twickenham.

The gifted centre had been due to lead a northern hemipshere side against a team from the southern hemisphere.

But last weekend's 19-13 Six Nations victory over England in Dublin - where O'Driscoll scored a decisive second-half try - was the midfielder's first match back following a hamstring injury which forced him to miss Ireland's win over Scotland.

Ireland are on course for their first Grand Slam since 1948 and a week after the tsunami match continue their bid against Six Nations champions France in Dublin.
