Fisichella wins Australian Formula One Grand Prix

MELBOURNE, Australia (AFP) — Giancarlo Fisichella of Italy driving a Renault won the season-opening Australian Formula One Grand Prix in Melbourne.
Rubens Barrichello of Brazil in a Ferrari was second with Fernando Alonso of Spain in a Renault third.
It was 32-year-old Fisichella's second win in his 142nd GP and earned Renault first and third placings on the podium.
David Coulthard, in his first drive for new team Red Bull Racing, was fourth ahead of Australian Mark Webber in a Williams-BMW and McLaren's Juan Pablo Montoya.
Seven-times world champion Michael Schumacher collided with Webber 14 laps from home and failed to complete the race.
