Chelsea's Cech keeps his cool as title beckons

LONDON (AFP) — As befits the last line of a defence that has conceded a mere 12 league goals so far this season, Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech was calmness itself ahead of the leaders' west London derby against Fulham at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The Blues are 11 points clear at the top and will wrap up their first top-flight title in 50 years if they beat Fulham and second-placed Arsenal fail to win against north London rivals Tottenham on Monday.

Cech is just one clean sheet away from equalling Manchester United's Premiership record of 24 shut-outs in the one season having kept his goal intact during Wednesday's 0-0 draw against Arsenal.
