Lampard set for summer repairs

LONDON (AFP) — Chelsea ever-present Frank Lampard is to have an operation on his foot as soon as the season is over.
Lampard, whose two goals at Bolton ensured the Premiership title for Chelsea, has a similar problem to captain John Terry - and both look certain to miss England's two-match tour of the United States at the end of May.
Lampard and Terry are in Chelsea's team for Tuesday night's European Cup semi-final second leg against Liverpool and will play on until the end of the season.
"The problem is between the little toe and the next one," Lampard told the London Evening Standard. "Basically, it's a hole in the skin which flares up from time to time.
