WELLINGTON (AFP) — British and Irish Lions coach Clive Woodward has made sweeping changes to his side for the second Test against the All Blacks at Westpac Stadium Saturday.
Seven of the starting XV that was beaten by the All Blacks 21-3 in the first Test have gone, and there are numerous positional changes.
In a backline shake-up, only halfback Dwayne Peel starts in the same position as last week.
Jonny Wilkinson returns to his more accustomed position of flyhalf with Gavin Henson brought in from the cold to play at inside centre.
Welsh winger Shane Williams, the five-try hero against Manawatu, will play on the left wing with new tour captain Gareth Thomas, normally a wing or fullback, starting at outside centre.
