Podsednik, Oswalt voted to baseball's All-Star teams

NEW YORK (AFP) — The final two roster spots for next Tuesday's Major League Baseball All-Star Game went to outfielder Scott Podsednik of the Chicago White Sox and righthander Roy Oswalt of Houston.

Internet balloting determined the "Final Vote" winner for each league, with more than 14.5 million votes cast on MLB.com as fans voted for five candidates each from the American and National leagues.

Podsednik, who leads the major leagues with 41 stolen bases, won the American League vote over shortstop Derek Jeter of the New York Yankees. Outfielders Torii Hunter of the Minnesota Twins, Hideki Matsui of the Yankees and Carl Crawford of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays rounded out the voting.
