Room for improvement in F1 claims Button

HOCKENHEIM, Germany (AFP) — Jenson Button admitted that there was room for improvement in Formula One following criticism from two former world champions in recent weeks.

Briton Nigel Mansell, who won the 1992 title, and compatriot Damon Hill, the 1996 champion, have attacked the new regulations, the handling of the United States Grand Prix fiasco and the lack of driver influence in modern times.

And Button, who is flying the flag for Britain this year, said: "For me it's great at the moment and I'm sure a lot of fans think so, but there is room for improvement and we need to work together to do that."
