HONG KONG (AFP) — Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson praised South Korean newboy Park Ji-Sung and said English and European clubs could expect to see many more like him as Asian football advances.
"He has showed exactly what we think about him, very good movement off the ball, very quick, two-footed, brave," Ferguson said Friday in praise of his new summer import.
The 24-year-old midfielder, who signed for four million pounds (seven million dollars) from Dutch side PSV Eindhoven earlier this month, is part of a near full strength squad to play the Hong Kong national team on Saturday.
