Viral outbreak leaves NFL club homeless for training camp

TEMPE, United States (AFP) — As if the Arizona Cardinals do not have enough problems, a viral outbreak has left them homeless for training camp six days before they start preparing for the National Football League season.

The Cardinals, coming off a difficult 6-10 season, announced here Monday that they have decided to move their pre-season workouts from Northern Arizona University because of an outbreak of Norwalk virus at the Flagstaff campus.

"Since becoming aware of the situation, we've spent a considerable amount of time in discussions with the university officials, outside health professionals and our own medical personnel to determine the best course of action," said Tod Graves, the Cardinals vice president of football of operations.
