Goosen holds off Campbell to lead by a stroke

BEIJING (AFP) — World number five Retief Goosen held on to his one-shot lead over US Open champion Michael Campbell after an error-strewn third round at the Volkswagen Masters-China.
Goosen, who has led after every round of the 300,000-dollar tournament, carded 71 on the par-72 Jinghua Golf Club course but Campbell bogeys on 15 and 17 returned him to the top of the leaderboard at 14 under par.
Campbell twice edged ahead of the double Major-winner but was left to curse the dropped shots which also left him with a 71, 13 under for the tournament.
