Fashion designers predict simpler cuts with touch of glamour for 2006

LONDON (AFP) — Fashion lovers should go for a simple, chic look next year, with snug-fitting outfits and bold accessories, several designers say, though they disagree on whether the in-colours will be pale or bright.
With the fashion world's clothes shows for spring/summer 2006 in full swing, designers have been making their mark on catwalks in New York and London over the past fortnight. Milan's fashion week is underway and Paris will follow.
"I think everyone is fed up with boho (gypsy-style). It is time to move on," said Betty Jackson, one of the well-established designers who took part in London Fashion Week, which ran from September 18 to 22.
