Brazilians raise funds by dropping drawers

SAO PAULO (AFP) — A group of women mostly older 50 posed nude for a calendar to raise funds for a children's cancer hospital, including lawyers, psychologists and a few men from the aid group "Cheerleaders for Good."

The female volunteers for the Group to Aid Children and Adolescents with Cancer in Sao Paulo posed nude for a women's calendar for the hospital and the men for the organization "Cheerleaders for Good," local media reported.

"I did it and if I had to do it over again, I would do it without regret," said Aparecida Cuhna, who volunteers at the hospital helping treat 2,500 patients each month.

The calendars, one male, one female, will be ready for 2006, according to website www.graacc.org.br.
