Man flies far and high to accumulate one million air miles in 60 days

VANCOUVER, Canada (AFP) — A Canadian man plans to fly all over North America, back and forth, trying to rack up one million frequent flyer points in 60 days, local media reported.
Marc Tacchi said he will travel with Air Canada to more than 100 destinations, over and over, to accumulate 70,000 dollars (60,000 USD) worth of air miles or about 10 executive class return flights from Canada to Australia by the end of November.
And, he will do it on an unlimited two-month pass that cost him only 7,000 dollars (6,000 USD)
"I was in Miami on Monday, I think," Tacchi told a reporter Thursday during a brief layover at Vancouver International Airport.
He will make several short trips during the day and sleep on transcontinental flights at night. Tacchi said...
