Capello bemoans Juve's lack of aggression

MUNICH, Germany (AFP) — Juventus manager Fabio Capello admitted his side deserved to lose 2-1 to Bayern Munich in Tuesday's Champions League Group A encounter claiming his team failed to match Bayern's aggression.

"Bayern deserved to win," Capello concluded Wednesday. "We had a few half chances but we could not match Bayern's aggressive style. They are very robust and we did not compete well in that area."

Juve had won all seven of their Serie A matches but, without their injured France midfielder Patrick Vieira, they were overrun in midfield with Bayern's Argentine Martin Demichelis pulling the strings.

"There was a great performance from Demichelis that really helped out the Bayern midfield and he was crucial for them.

"We werent our usual selves...
