Klinsmann welcomes back Ballack for France duel

FRANKFURT, Germany (AFP) — Germany manager Jurgen Klinsmann has welcomed inspirational captain Michael Ballack back into his 21-man squad for the friendly match with France in Paris on November 12.
Bayern Munich midfielder Ballack missed the last two international warm-up matches through injury and Germany fell to a 2-1 defeat in Turkey and limped to a 1-0 win over China.
"Of course we are delighted to have our captain back on board," said Klinsmann. "It is an important signal ahead of the duel with France."
While Ballack is back in the fold Borussia Dortmund defender Christian Worns, capped 66 times by his country, continues to be left in the wilderness following a public attack on Klinsmann.
