McClaren hails Viduka double

MIDDLESBROUGH, England (AFP) — Middlesbrough boss Steve McClaren singled out Mark Viduka for praise after the Australian striker fired his side to the verge of a place in the next round of the UEFA Cup.
Viduka warmed up for his country's World Cup qualifier against Uruguay next week with a second-half double that completed a 3-0 win over Ukrainian side Dnipro at the Riverside, following an opener from his Nigerian strike partner Aiyegbeni Yakubu.
