Real expect twin boost from Raul as Barca pay call

MADRID (AFP) — Real Madrid expect great things from skipper Raul in Saturday's table-topping crunch match against Barcelona after the striker's partner gave birth to twins.

On the two previous occasions that the three-time Champions League-winner became a father Real promptly saw off their bitter rivals from the east coast in "clasico" encounters at the Bernabeu.

"Raul a dad, victory assured," Marca sports daily, which is close to Real, trumpeted in its Friday edition.

Raul's first son, Jorge, was born during the 1999-2000 season and dad promptly helped Real to a 3-0 victory, conjuring a 2-0 win two seasons later within days of the birth of second son Hugo.

Now the Spanish star and his fans are banking on new twins Mateo and Hector giving the striker...
