Scandal-plagued Vikings unveil code of conduct

ST. PAUL, United States (AFP) — The Minnesota Vikings, embarrassed by a scandal stemming from a lake cruise that allegedly turned into a sex party, have unveiled a new code of conduct, to mixed reaction from players.

The 77-page document - a code of conduct and employee handbook - was presented to players and coaches of the National Football League team by owner Zygi Wilf and vice president Kevin Warren.

"Everything was, 'Be smart,'" said receiver Marcus Robinson. "You're a professional athlete. You're a big fish in a small bowl."

Receiver Koren Robinson added: "All it is, is common sense. Just be an upstanding citizen. Be the best person you can be."

Not all the players seemed to take the message too seriously.
