SAP to take on new employees in Germany this year

FRANKFURT (AFP) — SAP, the world's leading maker of business software, is to expand its German workforce again this year, chairman Henning Kagermann revealed.
"We want to take on more people again in 2006," Kagermann told the DPA news agency on Wednesday.
Last year, the software giant already expanded its domestic workforce by 600-700.
As of September 30, SAP employed 35,000 people worldwide, a third of whom were based in Germany.
