Angry Wenger slams Bolton 'tricks'

LONDON (AFP) — Arsene Wenger reopened his war of words with Sam Allardyce after Arsenal's tempestuous 1-1 draw with Bolton Wanderers.

The Gunners manager was furious after his striker Jose Antonio Reyes was left with a suspected broken leg following an over-zealous challenge by Abdoulaye Faye, while he also accused Wanderers of gamesmanship as they attempted, unsuccessfully, to protect their 1-0 lead here at Highbury.

This was the latest in a series of unseemly spats between Wenger and Allardyce, with the Frenchman having previously complained of what he perceived as the Lancastrians' overly-physical approach.

But those attacks paled in comparison to this latest onslaught.
