Capello hails Trezeguet as Juve close in on title

ROME (AFP) — Juventus coach Fabio Capello lavished praise on David Trezeguet after the French striker's double helped the Italian champions to a 3-1 win at Livorno.

Trezeguet took his league tally to 20 before Alessandro Del Piero grabbed Juve's third goal as the title-holders stretched their lead at the top of Serie to a comfortable 13 points.

"There's nobody quite like Trezeguet in the penalty box - he's incredible," Capello said.

"He has a calmness few other strikers possess and he has great confidence in his own ability."

Capello insisted Juve were worthy of the three points, despite enduring some difficult moments against a team that had previously lost just twice at home.
