Bachini banned for life after second positive drugs test

ROME (AFP) — Siena midfielder Jonathan Bachini has been given a life-long ban after twice testing positive for cocaine, the Italian football league's disciplinary commission revealed.
Traces of the recreational drug were found in a urine sample taken from Bachini after Siena's Serie A match away to Lazio in December.
The 30-year-old, who spent two seasons at Juventus, had previously served a nine-month ban for testing positive for cocaine when he was playing for Brescia.
Bachini, 30, made two international appearances for Italy during his time at Udinese.
Cocaine is not performance enhancing, but is on the Italian Olympic Committee's list of banned substances.
