Ballack's agent confirms Chelsea talks, hits out at Bayern

BERLIN (AFP) — Michael Ballack's agent confirmed for the first time that he was in talks with Chelsea who are reportedly set to make the Germany captain their highest paid player.
"We are holding serious negotiations with Chelsea," Michael Becker told the Frankfurter Allgemeinen Zeitung newspaper.
The agent also took a swipe at Ballack's manager at Bayern Munich, Uli Hoeness, who claimed this week that the player's sole motivation behind a move to the Premiership was money.
"Given Michael's financial situation it's not just a question of the amount of money on offer but also the sporting side of things."
