F1 bosses revoke Ide's driver licence

PARIS (AFP) — Super Aguri's Japanese driver Yuji Ide will not race again this season in Formula One after the International Automobile Federation (FIA) revoked his driver's licence.
Ide will be replaced by Frenchman Franck Montagny for the next two races, as he was in the European Grand Prix last weekend.
The Japanese driver was dropped over concerns that he was simply not fast enough to race in F1 and following a serious crash on the first lap of the San Marino Grand Prix at Imola three weeks ago.
Ide rammed into the back of Midland driver Christian Albers.
"It is with sadness and regret that the team accepts this decision," said a Super Aguri spokesman.
"However, we shall continue to seek opportunities for Yuji and hopefully find him a path...
