Ramos ecstatic to be on right side of Aragones

KAMEN (AFP) — Real Madrid central defender Sergio Ramos said he was delighted to have been moved to the right of the defence by Spain coach Luis Aragones.

The 20-year-old said that he had found it difficult at first but was now well adapted to it and looks like getting the nod ahead of his more experienced Real team-mate Michel Salgado.

"At the beginning I had a little trouble with it," admitted Ramos, who made his debut against China in March 2005 and was signed by Real for 27million euros from Sevilla at the end of that season.

"But now I'm much more at ease with it and I really like the fullback's position, you get more chances to socre," added Ramos, who scored four times for Real last term.
