US actor Culkin to star in new comedy

WASHINGTON (AFP) — US actor Macaulay Culkin, best remembered for his antics in "Home Alone," will star in a dark comedy about a couple facing problems in the bedroom, the industry newspaper Variety reported.
The movie, entitled "Sex and Breakfast" and directed by Miles Brandman, follows the couple's journey as they seek solace from a therapist who espouses group sex as a cure-all.
"I read a lot of material and loved this script," Culkin told Variety. "It's really about the pressure that leads them to experiment, the anticipation leading up to the event and then the fallout.
Culkin, who turns 26 at the end of August, hasn't starred in a movie since 2004, the year he was arrested in possession of marijuana. He starred in a number of teen movies between 1990...
