Roe, Colsaerts share halfway lead at Scandinavian Masters

MALMO, Sweden (AFP) — England's Mark Roe and Nicolas Colsaerts of Belgium led the field on 10-under-par after the second round of the Scandinavian Masters.

Roe shot a 65 for a total of 134 to put him in control with Colsaerts despite snapping a club in three with an approach shot round a tree on the final hole which he went on to birdie.

This duo were two shots clear of Sweden's Fredrik Jacobson and Marc Warren of Scotland.

Reflecting on the incident on the 18th hole Roe, who is in danger of losing his place on the European Tour after a 21-year run, said: "I was about a foot away from it (the tree) and if I hit the shot I wanted to, I would definitely have broken my arm or my wrist.
