Former NHL agent faces teen 'sexual exploitation' charges

OTTAWA (AFP) — A former National Hockey League agent and alleged target of a botched assassination plot was charged with the "sexual exploitation" of teenagers and then released on bail, police said.

David Frost, 39, the former agent of ex-Saint Louis Blues forward Mike Danton who later tried to have Frost killed, faces 12 counts of sexual exploitation and one assault charge, police Sergeant Kristine Rae told AFP.

The alleged incidents involved four boys and three girls aged 14 to 16 years and occurred between 1995 and 2001 in the town of Deseronto, on the shores of Lake Ontario, where Frost once coached and Danton played junior hockey, she said.
