Domenech embarrassed by riches

CLAIREFONTAINE, France (AFP) — France coach Raymond Domenech has admitted ahead of his team's Euro 2008 qualifier against Italy on Wednesday that he has an "embarrassment of riches" at his disposal. With his squad reporting a clean bill of health, Domenech looks unlikely to change the team that hammered Georgia 3-0 on Saturday.

Despite a few niggles in his squad, he said Louis Saha and Claude Makelele are both fully fit ahead of what is being seen as a grudge match against the world champions at the Stade de France in Paris.
