CAIRO (AFP) — US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice warned that time was running out for the international community if it did not want to lose credibility over the Iranian nuclear problem. "I hope that there is still room to resolve this," said Rice who is due to take part in a week-end ministerial meeting of the six countries involved in the discussions on Iran's nuclear threat.
"But the international community is running out of time because soon its own credibility in terms of enforcing its own resolutions will be (...) a matter of question," said Rice, who is pressing for sanctions. The European Union's foreign policy supremo Javier Solana and Iran's chief nuclear negotiator Ali Larijani wound up their third series of meetings last week saying simply that "progress" had...
