Dustin Hoffman, Emma Thompson between reality and fiction

PARIS (AFP) — Film stars Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson have presented a new film in which a man discovers that his life is part of a novel somebody else is writing. "Stranger than Fiction," directed by Marc Forster and starring Hoffman, Thompson and Will Ferrell, is "beautifully simple and very moving," said Thompson, who is the voice of the mysterious writer.

Hoffman is a literature professor who is consulted by the tormented Harold Crick, played by Will Ferrell, to help him make sense of the story he hears in his head, and which is also his life.
